Doris Gingingara

(1946-1999)

She was a good friend of Ian and a very talented artist. She left him an amazing collection of prints and drafts.

She was born in an aboriginal community in the Northern Territory and spent most of her life in Western Australia.  Her paintings have been chosen for exhibitions all over Australia and in Japan, France and England as well. Every picture has a special story and is signed by the hand of the artist.
